NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “ADVANCES IN ENGINEERING, TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT” ORGANIZED BY M M UNIVERSITY, SADOPUR, AMBALA ON 4TH APRIL 2015

Showcasing the contribution of the researchers, engineers, academicians and industrial professionals in the domains of Engineering and Management, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Sadopur (Ambala) organized the ‘2nd National Conference on Advances in Engineering, Technology and Management (AETM-2015)’-a premiere academic event of the University, on 4th April, 2015 in technical support with the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE).The conference was executed with an aim to bring forth the outpouring of engineering and managerial skills for the benefit of the nation and it catered to explore future trends in the aspects of Engineering (Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical & Electronics Engineering) and Management. All accepted papers of the Conference have been published in the International Organization of Scientific Research (IOSR) Journal.

The august presence of Dr. Amod Kumar, (Director, CSIO, Chandigarh) as the Chief Guest and Dr. S.D. Sharma (Vice-Chancellor, MMU Sadopur) as the Guest of Honour, surely helped the researchers & academicians in identifying fruitful directions for further research as they inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.

The Conference was led forward by unwinding the epitome of the research work and hence opening of proceedings by Dr. Amod Kumar (Chief Guest), Dr. S.D. Sharma (Guest of Honour), Mr. Raman Gupta (Registrar, MMU Sadopur), Dr. Manpreet Singh (Principal, MMU Sadopur& Conference Convener-AETM), Dr. Manoj Kumar (Conference Organizing Secretary- AETM).

The technical session of Computer Science & Engineering was presided over by Dr. Kawaljeet Singh (Director,University Computer Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala) and Dr. Vijay Katiyar(Dean Academic Affair, MMU, Mullana, Haryana). Mr. S K Angra, (Chairman, IETE, Chandigarh Section) was the session chair for the technical session of Electronics & Communication Engineering. Prof. Upain Bhatia (Head of Civil Engineering Department MMU, Mullana, Haryana) was the session chair for the technical session of Civil Engineering. The technical session of Mechanical Engineering was presided over by Dr. Dinesh Khanduja (Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT, Kurukshetra, Haryana). Dr. Suresh Chaddha (Professor, University Business School, Punjab University, Chadigarh), was the session chair for the technical session of Business Management.
