MM School of Architecture organised a case study and visit to Sadopur village for the students of B.Arch 4th semester on 19^th January, 2017 as a part of their design studio problem of Community centre and Sarpanch Haveli. With the help of the case study students can easily relate the theoretical aspects of designing with real life exposure.  During this study, students showed a lot of enthusiasm not only towards taking measurements but also interviewing people.

They spoke to the villagers regarding the morphological development and demographics of the village and measured various vacant sites for their proposal. They gained knowledge about village planning, the building materials used in villages, the way of life and practices of the villagers which will enable them to have a better insight while planning any space for a rural area.
