MM School of Architectureorganized an educational trip of 2^nd year B.Arch students from 31^st January to 11^thFebruary, 2016 to Rajasthan. The trip was a learning and teaching experience “on wheels” not only for the students but also for the teachers. The tour covered the sites of Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Udaipur, Jaisalmerand Jodhpur to reinforce the rich heritage and culture of the state in the minds of the students.

The study also imparted the knowledge of the historical background of the monuments with the architectural history that the tour aimed to provide to the young minds. This not only made them more aware about the important architectural techniques that have been used in past but also imperative reason behind them. The venture was a unique experience since apart from offering the students a deeper insight into the past, it also facilitated the students to grasp the realm of contrasts and breath-taking scenic delights.
