MM School of Architecture organised an expert lecture on the topic ‘Gram Haat’ by Ar.Surinder Bahga from Saakaar Foundation, Chandigarh.The Lecture was given as an introduction to the design problem of ‘Gram Haat’. Ar.Bahga talked extensively on vernacular technologies and materials. He also cited examples and case studies of the existing haats in urban centers in the country and had an interactive session with the students. The session ended with a vote of thanks extended from SOA, thanking Ar. Bahga for sparing his valuable time for the lecture.
