School of Architecture organised a Faculty Development Programme on Teaching Architecture: Basic Guide for Teachers 
by Prof. Anil Kumar, Director of Gateway College of Architecture and Design, Sonipat on 21^st January, 2016.

He said that educating the students is not just about as how to make them literate but also to make them understand about the culture, manners, aesthetics and the human values as they are the future of the society we live in. Talking about the methodologies of teaching, he taught the methods of making the lecture more interesting and how to involve the theory subjects in the practical work that the students do and the projects taken up by them. Summing up his lecture he concluded with the facts that a teacher is the guiding light of the lives of student and plays an effective role in the way a student’s future shapes up.
