The International Women’s Day was celebrated at MM School of Architecture on 8th March 2021.Prof. Aradhna Jindal, Principal MMSOA presented her views regarding this special occasion. The limelight was on the tireless works or activities of women who have worked extraordinarily in their field. She said that women’s day is to celebrate the achievements of women in various fields and also to express our respect, appreciation and love towards the most powerful gender. She accented the importance of this day by saying that whether in domestic field or in various other professional fields, women achieve pinnacle everywhere. She also told about women’s right in every aspects of life and protested day-to-day crime committed against women.

On this occasion quiz was organized between 4 teams of students, in which Chola house stood first and Mughal house marked the second position. Students also made videos showing Women’s role and importance in our lives. In the end new student council was selected and academic awards were distributed by the Principal for the session 2019-2020.

The program was truly turned out to be an inspiring element to the women of the University.
