Srijan -2015
School of Architecture, MM University organised ‘Srijan 2015’, a two days inter house art and cultural annual festival on 20-21 October. In the 2 days fest, the students of various houses Maurya, Mughals, Chola and Rajput participated in various cultural, literary, art and architecture events and showed their creativity and talent.
The fest kicked off by lightning of lamp by the Chief Guest, Mr. Deepak Anand, ex President of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Ambala City followed by Ganesh Vandana performed by students of second year. The Principal, Prof. Aradhana Jindal declared the 2 days fest open. The events such as Hasya Vyang, Picking the grains, Chisel the Sponge, Chain the Giraffe, Follow the Steps, Fashion Show, Adaptunes, Solo Singing, Couple Dance and Mime were organized on the first day. The events of the first day ended with the prize distribution of the same. Students who participated were felicitated for their hard work.
On the second day, events such as Rajdhani Express, Tie the hair, Situational Tunes, Pocket mai Rocket, junk yard, Light and Life, Nukkad natak, Group dance, Creative music etc. were organised. In the cultural event Nukkad natak, students gave social messages through their performances. The judge, Ms. Shelly Gupta, President, Inner wheel club, Ambala Cantt applauded the efforts of the students and gave away prizes to the event winners. The overall best performers in the academics throughout the year were also felicitated by Principal, Prof. Aradhana Jindal. The Mughal House was declared overall winner of the fest for the third consecutive time in a row!
