MM School of Architecture organized ‘Swagatam’ for welcoming fresher’s batch by 2^nd year students. The event started with lamp lighting ceremony by Dr. Harish Sharma, our Vice Chancellor; Chief Guest-Neha Kashyup, Vice Principal MM International School; Prof. Aradhana Jindal, Principal MM School of Architecture and other eminent guests.

The theme for the event was ‘Festivals of India’ in which the students of first year were dressed up in different traditional attire of the cultures and festivals of India. The students did the ramp walk by attiring themselves in beautiful coloured dresses worn on the occasion of Janmashtami, Id, Christmas, Basant Panchmi, Baisakhi, Lohri, Durga Puja, etc. The students exhibited their talent in the ‘Talent-Round’. The students of 2^nd year performed cultural programs as fillers in between the ramp walks.

Mr. Anil and Miss Neymet were adjudged as Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher respectively. The award in different categories of Most Talented, Best Costume, Mr. Personality and Miss Personality were given to Rahul Angrish, Antriksha, Lakshay and Sumi respectively. The chief guest in her speech motivated the students to excel in every field apart from studies. The event concluded with dance on DJ by students and the faculty together.
