MM School of Architecture organised a workshop on ‘Sustainable Development in the Indian Way’ by Ar. Gaurav Shorey, co-founder of 5waraj, an initiative for Green architecture and elevating the cultural aspects of our country. The workshop held on 12^th April, 2016 was also attended by students from other colleges and local architects. The interactive session conducted by Ar. Shorey, an alumnus and currently a visiting faculty of SPA Delhi made the audience well aware about 5 D’s: Dialect, Diet ,Dress, Dwelling and Dance which make up our culture. The session was made interactive by making the staff and students perform tasks to understand the inherit sustainability of our ancient culture. Concluding the seminar, Ar. Shorey was felicitated by Prof. Aradhana Jindal, Principal, SOA, MMU and a vote of thanks was proposed.
