Two students of IInd year Puneet and Manvik participated in the design idea competition in the workshop on ‘Architecture & Empathy’ organized by CCA, Chandigarh on 10^th-12^th January, 2019, in which Puneet won 3^rd prize and added laurels to the institute. The aim of the three days workshop was to develop an attitude of empathy in design. It strived to bring people of different domains to explore historical, contextual, technological, scientific and user perspective towards empathy for a deeper understanding of the word ‘Empathy’.

The workshop proved to be efficient in enhancing the student’s understanding about finding connections between architecture and empathy, which helped them to actually understand whether empathy is needed for creating good architecture or the outcome of good architecture is empathy.
