As a part of 4^th Semester curriculum of Building Construction and Materials course, the students were asked to detail out the sliding door and understand the mechanism and joineries related to the topic.Students were divided in groups and details of sliding doors were demonstrated through case studies of already present sliding doors nearby. The students learned the working of sliding door through making the models first and the details on sheets after the model processed. The Students came out with beautiful and most innovative ideas of sliding doors and understood the details of construction. The outcome of the experiment was 100% as below average students also came out with very interesting ideas and successfully completed the task.
