Kite Flying Competition
MM School of Architecture organized a ‘kite flying competition’ on 29.01.20 on the occasion of Basant Panchmi. When the season changes from winter to summer i.e at the onset of spring the period is called Basant. In this season the wind blows start. This is the perfect time for flying kites. The event was organized to commemorate the passion and enthusiasm for kite flying and was celebrated with immense joy and fun by the students and faculty. The experience will be cherished forever.
The event started with kite flying competition in which the students flew beautifully decorated kites and filled the sky with colours. It was a surreal moment to watch students and faculty flashing their vibrant flying machines and racing against the wind high above, surpassing all others. The fever of competition in between houses gripped all the four houses near at the end of the day. All the students participated with great zeal & enthusiasm.
This was the day when the beautiful blue sky was filled with colourful kites flying around and the laughter of the students ringing in the wind. The positive aura and vibes made everyone smile and forget about all the worries. It was a heart-warming experience for everyone present.
All students and faculty showed up their sincere efforts to make the event a successful one.
Prof. Aradhana Jindal, Principal, motivated students and faculty to participate in such events as these acts as a feast for the soul and senses. Ar. Vipasha Sharma, cultural head, then announced the winner of the kite flying competition as Maurya House.
