MM University, Sadopur, Ambala organized three days Faculty Development Workshop on ‘Teaching-Learning in Architectural Education’ from 20-22 Feb 2017. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rajeev Garg, Dean and Professor at Galgotia School of Architecture at Greater Noida. He started his first session on Basics of Architecture Education and as how the nature acts as helping hands for humans in the form of creativity and inspiration. On the first day, he also shared some basic information on Energy efficiency and Lifts and Escalators. Giving a twist to the session, he emphasized on the moral values and ethics that can make a person better today and tomorrow. The human ethics and values are the key principles to live a life to achieve higher goals and satisfaction in one’s life.

On the second day of the session he elaborated the teaching tools and techniques which can be improved by the teacher. He spoke on the role of teacher as a motivator and as how he can meet the professional field expectations from fresh graduate students.

The third day was conducted by our Principal Prof. Aradhana Jindal on the topic, ‘Time Management’. She stressed on the importance of Time Management to meet up the present day challenges of life.On the last day all the participants were given certificates and the workshop was able to stir the minds of the faculty.
