Holi Celebration
MM School of Architecture celebrated Holi, an Indian spring festival to keep the traditions and culture alive. The festival was celebrated by the students and faculty with much fervour and gusto.MM SOA which is a melting pot of different cultures and partaking, encouraged everyone to blend in even further in Holi celebration.This was the day where smiles in the haze of colors could be noticed everywhere.
The event started with the traditional “phool wali matki phod”ceremony inspired by the naughty gimmicks of Lord Krishna. Ar. Ravi Mahajan, broke the clay pot by making human pyramid and showered the flowers in a way showering the blessings of the Lord. After this, the colourful colors were spread out by the faculty and students over each other and the celebration continued with great joy and enthusiasm.
During the celebration both students and faculty felt a sense of togetherness and goodwill. The red, orange, green, blue, yellow, pink, etc. all mingled as the heavy rain poured at the right time making everyone unrecognizable, but awed and happy about the unique experience.
